The other day I was flipping through a Japanese crochet book and realised it has been so long since I have posted about Japanese craft books. I have quite a few I haven't shared on my blog and thought I would introduce a more regular weekly Crochet in Japanese blog post. How does that sound?
If you have read any of my Japanese crochet posts you surely know that I am a big fan of Kazuko Ryokai (for a reminder
here &
here) and have made several projects from her books (
here &
here).
This book is just as colourful and fun as the other books I have.

YAY!!!!
Very cute! Love Japanese Crochet style!
ReplyDeleteOooh I love those vegetable stock bags. Pretty pretty!
ReplyDeleteI have a japanese crochet book, but it's crocheting jewelry.
ReplyDeleteIf I only knew how to read Japanese!
Lots of beautiful project in that book. I'm quite daunted by Japanese crochet books, although I did manage the Flower Shawl. Would love to try some of those smaller projects - the pincushions are really cute!
ReplyDeleteOd I'd be very excited if you were to post about Japanese crochet more regularly! I have my first book and hope to use it sometime in 2012! I really want to get the book with the flower shawl in it. I didn't get it for Christmas and was holding out hope that I'd get it for my birthday but as they hasn't happened I might just have to buy it myself!
